At Cafe Calabria II, we believe that a meal is more than just food—it’s an experience of love, tradition, and family. While our doors officially opened in February 2023, our story began long before that. In 2012, my brother, Chef Michael, brought our family’s passion for food to life, with the support of our father, Chef Frank, our mother, Rosanna, myself (Sandra), and our youngest brother, Chef Gianfranco. Our parents, Francesco and Rosanna Futia, were both born in Calabria, Italy, where food is at the heart of every gathering. My mother poured her love into every dish in our home kitchen, while my father dedicated himself to his restaurant. For us kids, growing up meant rolling up our sleeves—washing dishes, preparing ingredients, and learning that food isn’t just something you eat; it’s something you share. In our Italian home, no one ever left the table hungry. The doorbell always seemed to ring at dinnertime, and no matter who stood outside—a friend, a neighbor, or even a stranger—there was always a place for them at our table. That’s the spirit we bring to Cafe Calabria II. Now, as a proudly women-owned and operated restaurant, we continue that legacy with passion and heart. We want every guest to feel like family, to experience the warmth of a home-cooked Italian meal, and to savor the rich, authentic flavors passed down through generations.
